Nail Colours I am loving at the moment!

Well hello there! Hope you guys are having a great 2012 so far.
So I got 2 new nail colours that really inspired me and those colours are so beautiful!! Here are some pictures! :)

Well I guess thats it so far.. The prices are really low but the nail colours are amazing!!
The first one (muddy brownish) was for 1.45 euro.from Kruidvat . -Essence Nail Colour

College Fashion (Spencer Hastings Inspired)

Here I am again!
I am going to be writing about Spencer Hastings fashion, classy but still cute. Pretty Little Liars is my favourite tv show so far after Gossip Girl and Spencer has to be my favourite character. Many people love Aria but for me it is Spencer all the way! I guess she is perfect and wants to be perfect. She has trouble with being the best in her family as her older sister always scored higher grades than her while Spencer is a top A student. She is very competitive.
To be honest my favourite 'style' of the four girls has to be Aria. She resembles my style the most but Spencer is just so amazing that I am up for it!

Hair:
Spencer has lose waves, brown hair (from the series, Troain's hair) and a medium size. She has no bangs and sometimes even braids her hair to the side so she has no hair in her face.
If you have naturally wavy hair you are lucky enough to get it naturally right after your hair dries. But if you are unfortunate and maybe like me have too much waves and too much curles you could do the following and still get the great look with just a simple few steps;
1. Take a shower with any shampoo you please, make sure it smells neat and good Spencer likes neatness.
2. Brush your damp hair through ones (and after this you can not brush your hair until you take a shower again otherwise your waves will dissapear).
3. Use hair mousse that is strong enough for your hair. Pull all your hair upside down and apply mousse from the roots to the end.
4. Scrunch up your hair using some more hair mousse.
5. Apply some hair gel (not too strong) starting from the roots to the ends. But do not make it too strong otherwise your hair will look to stiff while Spencer's hair is smooth.
6. Whipe your hair back and forth. ♪
7. When your hair is a bit dry apply a little bit of hairspray so your hair stays like that for the rest of the day and until you take a shower.

Make up:
Spencer has very natural make up which is hard to notice but her lips are very pink and they are very full. She is naturally pale but she has defined her jaw lines by applying blush and some bronzer.
Her eyelashes on the otherhand take all the attention away from her face; she has long black full eyelashes that look very elegant ontop of very natural eyeshadows around her brows.

Clothes:
As mentioned above, Spencer is very classy. She is usually wearing coats, blazers, trousers, knit leggings, laces shoes but never converse or hoodies. Her accesory is a hat. She is always wearing hats, very nice ones usually!

RIP Ben Breedlove

twenty twelve!

2 0 1 2!

Happy New Year! The time has come that there needs to be change in our little lifes. Resolutions are some kind of solutions. I am all up for this year, I have already changed and it is only the 1st of January ahaha. I have some resolutions that include a couple of things; fashion, life, stress, family and friends. I need to basically kind of change my own way of things.

For this whole year I am going for a risky fashion year. I am not going to care what other people will be wearing to school, I am just going to go for risky prints, different textures and totally out of the blue. I am going this year for a 'aria montgomery/blair waldorf' style. I am going to wear a lot of dresses and tights (already bought three pairs of leggings and tights:P). I have also bought a lot of dresses and tops with skirts and jeans that looks different but not too different. 
e.g :
I have bought ;
 cheetah print brown dress (from H&M for euro 20)
 Brown cardigan (from H&M for euro 15)
 Dark grey knit leggings (from H&M for euro 13)
 Brown boots with heel and fur on the edges (from a local shop in Holland called Actie Schoenen for euro 20)
 (fake) pearl earings, medium size (from Kruidvat for euro 3)

It is crazy but I think that the pearl earings and the brown cardigan just give my whole crazy look some calmness.

Next mission, changing life!
I will change my way of living, no more lazy, no more delying work for tomorrow and no more handing in assignments late. School or home, I really need to get my ass to working. I have a huge problem and that is being lazy. I sometimes don't put in my lenses because I am too lazy to take them out at night. But now I have decided I will wear my lenses and take them out and clean them every night no matter how tired or lazy I feel. And I have a habit of delying my work to tomorrow, which is no good and just increases stress. So I am going to keep up with my work along, I have worked really hard over the holidays to completed some work and most of it is already done. So I am going to do my work the day I have to and I will stick to it. My classmate once told me that his sister (who topped the DP in the Netherlands with 48 points) used to put post-its in her whole wall saying 'I CAN DO THE MATH ASSIGNMENT!' and once she was done she used to take them off with joy. So if I do that, I bet I will get irritated until I don't take them out.

Next; Stress!
My previous post basically already gives some tips on how to reduce stress, so I am thinking I need all of those tips once in a while to reduce all the stress. I need a break and I will take it, just not when I have too much work.

Family!!
I am not a very family person, but one of the things I love the most is my family. Without them I would not be here so I really need to give my family a break with the moodiness. So I am going to a happy family moment. I am going to smile and be happy until my family is satisfied and I will stop being such a dramaqueen at home.

&Friends!!
Friends are some people that made me go through a lot in life and helped me. I am glad to say that my best friend is in Pakistan and I am in Holland but I love her and she is a sister to me. I miss her and I don't care how far away she is from me. I love her and she has lead me through everything. And my friends around here are the best, they accept me and who I am. I am glad to have these friends and I will please them as long as I am in contact with them!

How to reduce college stress for teenagers (like myself)

Oh God its been so long since I saw my baby blogger!! 
Argh, have been so busy lately. Got 4 huge assignments due right after Christmas. English Essay, bio essay, chemistry lab report, bio test, art final project, art competition work AND to top it all off I am getting braces that week(: Great. So no Christmas 'holidays' for me.  
And to be honest I have to work extra hard this year to get to DP (IB's Diploma Programme). And to get into DP I need all 6's and 7's (out of 7-.-). Hmm, working on that as well. So anyway. I have been really stressed lately so thought I should write about how I kind of reduce the stress. So here it goes guys!


1) Listen it out!
Hmm, I dont know but music speaks to me. It is weird but whenever I am really tired and feel emotionally breaking down, I listen to music and make myself relieved for atleast half an hour. I mean, come on. You do have half an hour! So listen it all out! Tune up your music and sing along as loud as possible even, it does make things better and makes you feel much lighter afterwards.


2) Take a Day off.
I know I know, it is not as easy at it sounds but you honestly need a break! Not for too long though otherwise you might lack behind. So maybe pick a day in a week or if too busy in a month? And on that day you will refuse yourself from working. But make sure this does not happen to much otherwise you will lack behind and that will do no good to your stress level at the end. Take a day off and just relax yourself, watch a movie, go out with friends, go out with family, enjoy yourself and do not think about course work or any other test etc. !WARNING! if you have a test due the next day, pospond your free day, you do not want to fail after all that hard work, now do you?


3) Don't work for others, work for yourself and think about your rewards!!
I mean, hello? You do want a reward for working hard, now dont you? So dig yourself into books for a long time and then at one point stop AND think about how beautiful life will be once you pass this test or your work. But again !WARNING! do not get into your imagination for too long, you will forget your work. So keep in mind your reward and goal!


4) Pamper yourself.
If you are a girl, hey get out of your books and tune up some music and get out your favourite nailpolish and get to work! Make yourself feel special and pamper yourself every now and then. And if you are a boy, (I am not a boy so I might not know what you guys do) pamper yourself with a good game of Black Ops! Get on that old xbox/Playstation and start your work and kill some N00BS;)


5) Do Yoga.
Yoga is such a helpful thing. Don't go to the really complex yoga things cause for some reason I find them really stressful. I mean breath in and out and stay in a comfertable position but don't let anyone near u and forget the world for 10 minutes. !TIP! Put your phone on a 10 minute alarm. And just sit in your yoga position and relax. Don't open your eyes until your alarm goes off, and don't answer to anyone until the time is finished.


6) Pray (if you have a religion)
Praying is like talking to God and explaining to God how he can help you. Do not forget he is around you all the time. Pray for at least 5 minuted, and stay happy. I am a Muslim so I might have different views from you all but I pray regularly and am proud of it. I don't just do it for the sake of getting into heaven but also for my own peace of mind. I mean, I don't want to worry all the time on dying any minute and still not getting into heaven. So hey, talk to God and make yourself feel relieved from everything. If you believe that God is the one that created you, then you should also know he is the only one who can take you onto the right path.


7) Stay positive!!
Nothing will go right once you are negative, and if you are nervous at a test and stressed all night drinking coffee, that would not help. Keep calm and aim for good grades and tell yourself you can do it! And if you get a low grade, don't worry too much. My chemistry teacher told me last night on the parents teacher evening, ''You work hard but you are still not ready to take out the fruit off the tree branches. Just keep watering your tree and keep it up, you will rise. And ambition is the key to success!'' So stay positive and aim for higher grades and it will give you a less of a headache.


8) Don't use wrong techniques to reduce stress, they will cause other problems later on!
Being a teenager can cause you smoking or even using drugs to reduce your stress. But if you think about it, you are just putting something off for tomorrow. You are basically putting off stress of today to tomorrow. If you start smoking or using drugs it can cause problems later on in life which will cause stress. So putting it off will not help either. So stay away from it!


9) Write down your stress.
Sometimes talking to yourself actually helps. If you are having stress due to not only college related subjects but also personal things that could not be shared with friends and family get a diary and write everything you feel while you are stressed. Write down why, when, where and how you can avoid it. 


10) Stay happy and enjoy life like there is no tomorrow!
Stress can also be 'gone' by just forgetting about the world and living happy. 'You don't know when or how you will die', that is what my mum always tells me. She says, 'why live unhappily and forget God if you don't even know about the next second in your life?'. And it all makes sense, we plan way too much and end up with nothing. So always stay on the bright side of the world and stay relaxed most of the time.

I RETURN TO BLOGGER with Aria Montgomery's Fashion!

I return! And it has been more than a month that I wrote anything on blogger or posted any blogs/videos. So here is a treat! I am going to give you a fashion update, which will be Aria Montgomery's style and sense of fashion. Aria basically wears a lot of layers of clothes and at the same time has very elegant look. To get that full look please do not buy any bright colours from now on!
Aria has an emo side, but still not all black. Just dull colours such as grey, brown, blue and even black. Her makeup and nails are also in very dark colours but her makeup usually is not as black as expected. For example in this photo you can see that Aria has matched her blue earings with her waterlash line. Which I believe is a great idea! Her lips and cheeks however are pink and all the attention is dragged to her earings.
Aria's hair on the other hand is usually curly. But not always! Sometimes it is perfectly straight! However I believe she looks beautiful with both (outwards curls&silky straight hair) hair styles.
Then coming back to her nails! They are usually in different colours, blue, brown, grey and they are not always that dark! But still, with her dark colour code they don't look too bright!
Then as mentioned, she wears a lot of layers and wears dull colours. But that is not what completes aria's look; dresses and leggings! Aria seems to be always wearing dresses to me for some reason. Just like Blair from Gossip Girl however Blair wears more like Spencer Hasting(ish) dresses and skirts. But Blair also has bright coloured leggings, and if you want that look then you are on the wrong blog my dear! 
However, Aria always seems to have black leggings, and for example in the picture below she is wearing very flowery leggings but they still look great and not too over rated, if you know what I mean.


But her dresses are build up into different layers where she mixes and matches. For example a dress with leather jacket or a leopard print jumper with shorts and leggings and a tank top. Aria's got it all! But jewelry is also on her top list, as the first picture on this post; her earings are big and drag all the attention from the face and makes us pay less attention to the makeup. Aria tends to wear long necklaces and earings that match her clothes |(most of the time). 
However Aria over all has a great sense of fashion and it could be used for any high school student. It is great for a formal or informal day. Don't be lazy and wear layers and layers of clothes!

Stay Fit!

 Hello there!


So it has been a while since I wrote a social kinda blog so here it is! Hmm, it is such a nice cold weather! Like it is not very beautiful, but it is so nice and comfertable at home. Hoodies on, scarfs rapped up, heaters on and movies! But cold weather to some people means a break in fitness but NO! Stay fit!
So here are some tips that you can use to keep fit DURING winter!


1) jogging, every single day.
I know it is a pain in the ass to get up in the morning and jog for even a minute. But if you want to stay fit, wear your favourit sweatpants and hoodie or T-Shirt, your shoes and grab your iPod and keep running and runnig! If you want to stay fit and healthy get up and run!


2) Swimming once a week atleast
Swimming is such a good sport for girls and boys. It keeps our body in good shape for a beach party! So get up and go swimming. Atleast once a week or if you don't like swimming for what so ever reason, do some other good sport for once a week such as tennis or vollyball or football? Just do something that wil help you lose calories in no time.


3) Eat and eat!
Girls love hearing a couple of things but one of my favourite thing to hear is, "EAT!" i love eating just like the rest of you. So eat anything, but keep excercing while doing so. 


4) Be mentally prepared for weight loss/gain
Sometimes it is a challange to step on the weight machine because you might have not lost even a pound but it is okay because you need to be prepared for it later. Don't give up. And if you gained weight just think about it all, think it all over and set goal for the next time you are going to step on the weight machine. Dont feel bad because you gained some weight, you are still young and healthy so you have a long way to go. 

5) Be Happy

Be happy and appreciate what you got, it will help you by supporting yourself. Be happy and smile because that is one of the things that can make life work without any pain. No regrets guys!
